About Dr. Tony Cunningham

Tony is the Director for the Center for Sleep and Cognition at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School and is a Teaching Fellow and Instructor of multiple courses on sleep at the Harvard University undergraduate campus. Tony received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Notre Dame, completed his clinical internship at the VA Eastern Kansas Healthcare System, and recently received his license to practice psychology in the state of Massachusetts. In choosing to pursue clinical training within cognitive neuroscience labs, Tony's background has prepared him to carve a niche in the field of sleep and behavioral sleep medicine at the intersection between cognitive neuroscience and clinical practice. Tony’s expertise and past experiences have prepared him to relay pivotal clinical and scientific information to individuals and groups alike, with the ultimate goal of optimizing your performance and making a happier, healthier you.
